Star Trek
J.J. Abrams is too busy directing the 7th episode of “Star Wars,” so the director’s chair for “Star Trek: 3” is currently open. Roberto Orci is the latest to be rumored to join the production. This is a very massive project to take on, but it seems like Paramount may be willing to turn over the reigns to this first-timer. Orci has been a producer on many big box office films such as, “The Proposal” and “Now You See Me,” along  with the television series, “Sleepy Hollow.” I’m sure major Star Trek franchise fans are freaking out over a first-time directing taking over, but if it gives you any comfort, he was also the producer on “Star Trek” and “Star Trek: Into Darkness.” Also Abrams will remain a producer of the movie.
