Everyone knows that Halloween doesn’t last a day! Considering all the events, parties and themed get-togethers you’ll be invited to and attending,  it can easily last up to a week! Thus, the newly coined term “Halloweek!”  Here are some highlights of what’s going on in LA for your Halloweek 2009.

Go Hard

This year’s Hard Festival is a two-day techno party (Friday, October 30th - Saturday,October 31st) at the Shrine Auditorium. Although both nights will probably be a blast, THE POP FIX suggests saving your energy for Saturday because the line-up includes D-A-N-C-E greats Justice, Basement Jaxx and Steve Aoki. Tickets start at $70.

Celebrate in a Cemetery

If you’re truely a creepy Halloween fan, you probably want to spend Halloweek in a graveyard. Luckily, now you can at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery’s Dia De Los Muertos celebration. Scare yourself silly on Saturday, October 24th, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Or, attend The Ceremonial Altar Set-Up on Friday, October 23rd, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. onward.

Explore Haunted Hollywood

If  you think about it, a scavenger hunt is the adult equivalent of trick-or-treating. So indulge your inner child and scour Los Angeles with a group of a friends for a Halloween adventure. Learn about local ghosts and haunted locations with a team of six on the Haunted Hollywood Scavenger Hunt!

Party At The Playboy Mansion

Isn’t the male highlight of living in LA the idea of easy access to the Playboy Mansion? Although easy access is not guaranteed (unless you’re willing to shell out $1000 for the ticket) the Halloween party is a great occasion to hang at Hef’s house if you’ve been saving up! 1920’s Throwback

Craving a flapper-induced Halloween haze orchestrated by a 1920’s style big band? Then your ideal Halloween event is The Vampire Masquerade at Vibiana/Pandora. $65 dollars will get you a solo ticket to this stylized soiree, but considering $100 will cover you and your date, you might as well bring a friend!
